The Department of Physics, the Graduate Institute of Applied Physics, and the Graduate Institute of Astrophysics at National Taiwan University invite applications for several faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, with appointments beginning in August 2027. Rank and salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Outstanding candidates in all areas of physics will receive serious consideration. Areas of particular interest include, but are not limited to, condensed matter experiment and theory, high-energy/particle experiment and theory, optics, biophysics, and astrophysics.
Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate excellence in both teaching and research. They should be capable of teaching effectively at the undergraduate and graduate levels while maintaining an active and internationally competitive research program. Postdoctoral experience is expected, and prior faculty experience is highly desirable.
