Regulation on Awarding Outstanding Undergraduate Students

Ⅰ

The regulation is based on the university’s Guideline on Awarding Outstanding Undergraduate Students.

Ⅱ
|
The department applies the same screening criteria as listed in article six, item two of the university’s Guideline on Awarding Outstanding Undergraduate Students. The screening criteria is based on the score the student achieves in the semester. GPA calculation points are rounded to the second decimal place.

Ⅲ

If there were two or more candidates for the last quota, please refer to the following regulations.

1.

Candidates achieving higher GPA in required or selective courses offered by the Department of Physics should be awarded.
|

2.
|
Candidates who have more credit hours on the required and selected courses offered by the Department of Physics should be aewarded.
|
Ⅳ
|
If the above issue to select the best candidate cannot be resolved, the Student Assistance Committee should hold a meeting to select the winner.
|
Ⅴ
|
The regulation becomes effective upon being passed by the faculty meeting.
